Instagram — Privacy

How SparkSocialHq handles data when you connect Instagram. This page supplements our general Privacy Policy.

Data we receive from Instagram

When you connect Instagram we use Facebook Login for Business and Meta's Graph API (permissions: instagram_basic, instagram_content_publish, pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement, business_management) to receive your app-scoped user ID and, for each Instagram professional account you grant, its ID, username, profile picture and the access token of the Facebook Page it is linked to.

Tokens are encrypted at rest and used only to publish the image and video posts you compose, and to read those published posts back so you can confirm they went live. We never read your DMs, followers or insights.

Meta's Privacy Policy applies (privacycenter.instagram.com). Disconnecting deletes stored tokens immediately, as does removing the app in Meta's settings; deletion requests are confirmed at sparksocialhq.com/data-deletion.
